The Pie Imp

Having fun with a new style of illustration, trying to emulate medieval wood engravings printings.

The idea is to illustrate fictional tales of folklore set in a fantasy setting.

Here we see a type of Boogeyman, known as Pirog Certenok, or “Pie Imp”. This sketchy dude creeps in rich kids, who didn’t finish their pie at dinner, to punish them by shoving pie dough down their throats while they sleep, eventually strangling them...
